About the project

KyivHospitality provides premium short-term apartment rentals in the heart of Kyiv. Operating in the hospitality industry requires a digital infrastructure entirely different from standard retail e-commerce. They needed a robust, interactive booking system.

Instead of a standard shopping cart, the client required an UpToDate reservation calendar where users could visualize availability and pricing instantly. The platform also needed to support multiple languages and provide administrators with granular control over seasonal pricing and availability.

Engineering a hospitality-first user experience

Hospitality clients do not log in with standard emails and passwords; they expect to track their bookings securely using reservation details. We engineered a custom authentication flow requiring a unique reservation confirmation number, last name, and arrival date.

Aesthetically, the site received a structural upgrade. The header was redesigned to evoke a boutique, premium feel, and relevant contextual banners of Kyiv were integrated across individual apartment pages to sell the destination alongside the accommodation.

We customized the Solomono Engine, shifting it from a traditional product catalog into a specialized property management platform with custom authentication and dynamic pricing rules.

Standard CMS product pricing could not handle the need for temporary rate changes for holidays (like New Year) or specific calendar days.

Engineered an UpToDate visual calendar directly on the apartment pages. Users can see daily prices instantly. The backend allows admins to easily modify prices for specific dates and block out unavailable days.
